Hello there!

Abigail Wastie is a sustainable textile activist based in Derby.

Delivering workshops to children and adults, the public and private sector that are aimed at equipping the students with hands-on knowledge, tools and skills to increase the longevity and sustainability of their dressing.

With previous industry experience at luxury and ethical fashion brands.

Abigail also organises large events to enable her customers to shop ethically and support local makers and SMBs such as Derby’s Ethical Christmas Market.

In her spare time she enjoys tapestry weaving, using British wool to create humorous playful weavings- as seen at MoM makers shop.

I don’t believe knowledge and creativity should be elitist, so my ‘Beginners Guide to Tapestry’ is a free download for anyone who joins my mailing list.

And lots of Abigail’s workshops are beginner friendly…everyone has the potential to be creative it’s not a superpower, and sometimes we just need a little guidance on the way.
