- Wooden bobbin
- Woolen yarn
- Yarn needle
- Wooden fork
- Wooden shed sticks
- Wooden doweling for hanging your workshop creation
- Printed version of Abigail’s beginners tapestry guide
Additional info
During the workshop you will receive an introduction to tapestry tools, frames and the warping processes. Different tapestry weaving techniques will be demonstrated including rya knotting, free weaving and soumak weaving.
You will be able to choose your own colours and textures from a selection of high quality woollen yarns to create your tapestry design.
Abigail will guide you through the process of translating your design onto the pre-warped frame.
