Weaving Workshop
An introduction to tapestry tools, frames and the warping processes. Different tapestry weaving techniques will be demonstrated including rye knotting, free weaving, soumak weaving. You will be able to choose your own colours and textures from a selection of high quality woollen yarns to create your tapestry design.
Come and enjoy a special afternoon, learning new skills in a friendly, homely environment over homemade cake and tea.
Abigail will guide you through the process of translating your design onto the pre-warped frame.
