MEET OUR PANELISTS

Abigail Wastie- Organiser of The Ethical Atelier, passionate sustainable textile activist with industry experience in Luxury and Ethical fashion brands now teaching sustainable sewing courses in Derby. 

Sophie Benson- Sustainable fashion journalist and international publicist, with work highlighting issues of human rights within fashion manufacturing. Working with VOGUE, Dazzed, Drapers.

Lauren Mason - Over 15 years as Buyer in Fashion Industry disillusioned by the waste generated in these companies Lauren founded ReTribe Clothing a waste recycling fashion brand creating beautiful high performance products made from discarded tents, sleeping bags and deadstock materials.

Harriet Haiynes Young- Knitwear designer and Technical Developer currently working at Derbyshire Sunspel but has worked across sectors of the industry for licensers on behalf of key names on the high street; Topshop, Monsoon and Primark.

No parking on site, if use the Assembly rooms car park you can get your parking ticket discounted to £2.70 by the museum staff. Info here.
