Over the last few years I have been taking part in social media event called #memademay where different makers post a photo of themselves fro everyday in may wearing something that is either hand made or mended/embellished by hand. Its a great way to celebrate hand made clothes and as a maker I find it helps me work out areas of my #handmadewardrobe that have gaps and see so much inspiring work by other sewers.

During #memademay I realised I needed a everyday jacket so I made the #maisajacket and next on my to-do list is more basic tees and maybe some jersey joggers…more school run wear basically and less office wear!
