4- mix up the yarns, using some festive colors and metallic. Knot your yarn onto your new yarn and then keep weaving until you reach the end. When you reach the end thread a needle onto the end of your yarn and stitch it securely around the spoke, or knot the thread end onto a spoke if its easier.

Handmade rubber stamps are such an easy way to make dozens of Christmas cards super fast, I normally buy a pack of rubber stamps from tiger for £3 and the kit includes a wooden cutter.

Draw your design on to tracing paper and trace the design on the reverse. Then transfer the ‘reversed design‘ on to your rubber. Draw over the pencil with biro and scratch out the areas around your design like I have done.

Then get stamping..press the rubber stamp into your ink pad until its completely covered, this is the best for kids to do! Messy but fun!

I buy my card from eco craft.

Where does Santa hide his big bottom?!!

Silly chocolate coin treasure hunts are popular in our house too!

My children’s tapestry kits are simple and easy to use and can create something really cute and stylish for their room. Using the yarns provided thread the needle and start weaving, add tassels and fringing with all your favorite colors and when you have cut it off the loom tie too the wooden doweling inside your kit.
